AI credits
How do AI credits work?
Credits measure the use of AI features: generating a form, improving your questions or asking for response insights. Each action consumes credits according to its size.
A clear monthly quota
Every plan includes 500 free credits per month. Pro adds 2,000 credits per cycle and Team 4,000, and the usage meter inside the app always shows where you stand.
Extras only if you turn them on
If you run out, you can enable additional credits at $5 per 1,000, with a monthly cap you define. There are never charges you did not approve.
Shared with your team
Plan credits belong to your organization: on Team, everyone works from the same shared pool. And each person also keeps their monthly free quota as a personal fallback.
1 credit ≈ 700 words processed by AI, counting what you send and what comes back.

Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade whenever you want from your billing settings, and the change is handled securely through our payments portal.
What happens if I downgrade?
Your data is not deleted. You keep access to your content and your responses; the new plan's limits apply going forward (publishing and quotas). Keep in mind that on Free, responses are retained for 90 days.
Do I need a card for the Free plan?
No. Free never asks for a payment method. You only add one if you decide to get Pro or Team.
What happens with AI if I stay on Free?
Every month you get 500 free AI credits, forever. If you use them up before the renewal, only AI features pause until next month — the rest of Formelia keeps working as usual. Need more? Pro and Team add monthly credits on top.
Do prices include taxes?
Prices are in USD. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on your country.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards. Payments are processed securely by Polar, our billing provider; we never store your card details.
